Lara Jonasdottir was born and raised in Iceland but has been living in
Ireland for the past 7 years. She is a qualified Medical Herbalist, Massage
Therapist and Reflexologist and practises both in Dublin and in Galway.
Lara’s interest in Herbal Medicine began during her floristry training at
the Agricultural University of Iceland where she was introduced to the
fascinating world of plants, their structure and uses. Following on from
this, she moved abroad to study Herbal Medicine and has since then been on a
path of continuous information-gathering and education about plants and
their medicinal usage including studying with some of the leading herbalists
in the world today. At Herb Feast Lara will talk about Herbal Medicine in
Iceland and the importance of case studies.
